“Creativity is a cherished gift. Color and expression dominate my art. The ability to coordinate eyes, hands, and brain to execute a pleasing piece of art is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. As a colorist, the excitement of a piece is achieved by placing one color next to another to produce the maximum, dynamic impact.

I have always perceived the world is shapes, lines, textures and design. These elements complimented by "juicy" color and expression result in an exciting, final composition. Anything and everything is a painting. I Inspiration is everywhere. Life itself, past and present, is the seed from which my paintings evolve. My goal is to give the viewer an escape from reality, an "awakening" or a refreshing way to perceive life. Color brings joy and excitement to my day.

In the past I had the opportunity to travel to Collioure, France, which is a small, seaside, fishing village on the Mediterranean just across the border from Spain. My intrigue with this cozy, hidden treasure was that it was the birthplace of Fauvism, a style of painting originating around the 20th century. French artists Matisse, Derain, Dufy and Spanish artist, Picasso and others focused on this style of painting demonstrated by riotous color. Influenced by their excitement I also find delight light in using bold, complementary colors for maximum effect. I hope you enjoy the journey of color I have created for you. It is magical!”
